Yaytrade secures SEK 8M from Swedish angel investors
Yaytrade, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company managing an online marketplace for buying/selling, swapping and rentals of products and services, secured SEK 8M ($920k) in capital investment.
The money comes from new and existing investors, including William Rosén, Carl Palmstierna, Johan Hernmarck (through Provider Investments) and Oscar Salen.
Yaytrade, founded in 2015 by David Knape (CEO), Janni Delér, Jon Berglund and Jon Olsson, developed a marketplace for buying, selling, swapping, and renting products and services. The company claims to have transactions from visitors coming from 160 countries - however, the Swedish registered company, Ytrade Group AB, didn't record revenues, at a loss of about SEK 1.2M ($150k).
