HappyOrNot, a Tampere, Finland-based company providing the "Smiley" customer feedback in retail outlets, announced closing a $14.5M investment round in series A funding.
HappyOrNot, founded in 2009 by CEO Heikki Väänänen and Ville Levaniemi, works with 4,000 clients in 117 countries, with ‘Smiley Terminals’ installed across airports, office spaces, and retail outlets around the world. Customers include large retail chains such as IKEA, Lidl, and Carrefour, as well as global brands including Microsoft, McDonald’s, London Heathrow Airport, LinkedIn, and the British National Health Service. The company currently employs 65 people across its HQ in Tampere, Finland, and US office in Florida.
