Havredals, an Uppsala, Sweden-based producer of plant-based alternatives to dairy products and meat, announced securing a capital funding round of SEK 3M ($330k).

The money was provided by a range of angel investors backed by the Swedish agency Almi Invest, which contributed with 2 millions.

Havredals, founded by CEO Per-Johan Thörn, launched its first product early in 2020 - a new type of oatmeal drink which contains about 40 percent more oats than other oat beverages. The high oat content provides enough beta-glucan fiber to lower blood cholesterol levels.
