Headshed secured $570k in a seed investment round

Headshed, a Trondheim, Norway-based company providing a software as a service solution for the sales people, announced in a press release the completion of a NOK 5M ($600k) capital investment round.

At the same time, the company announced that its investor, Petter Quinsgaard, will become the chairman of the company's board of directors.

The funding will be used to help the company's efforts to grow its business.

Headshed was founded in 2013 as a spin-off from Consort by Rune Skjei and Magnus Hoem Slørdal. The company, which is led by Torbjørn Slørdal, built Cube, a cloud-based solution that connects information and automates manual contact and sales processes. The solution is in use by customers including NHO, Santander and Gjensidige Bank.
