Headstart Studios raised funding from Caldec Studios.

Headstart Studios, a Hamburg, Germany-based provider of digital education services, announced that it secured a capital investment injection.

The money was provided by the Hamburg's investment company Caldec Holding an investment vehicle wholly owned by Markus Metyas and brothers Hermann and Florian Wendelstadt.

The proceeds will be used to grow and expand the company's product portfolio with more eLearning programs for digital marketing and in the area of ​​corporate learning.

Headstart Studios was founded in 2016 as Avado Learning by CEO Marc Johannsen and changed its name in April 2020 as a result of an MBO. The company sells Squared Online (developed with Google) and the OMR Academy (developed with OMR) as well as delivers customised digital learning journeys for corporate clients.
