Hjemmelegene raised $1.2M from Schibsted Growth.
Hjemmelegene, an Oslo, Norway-based company operating a digital platform that helps with making doctor home appointments, announced that it secured a NOK 10M ($1.2M) capital investment round.
The financing, which values the company at NOK 57M ($6.7M) postmoney, was provided by Schibsted Growth and will be used to expand the company's availability in other Norwegian cities.
Hjemmelegene, founded in 2017 and CEO Nicolai Skarsgård, built a platform in order to connect doctors with patients anywhere in the area they are located. Instead of the patient coming to the doctor's office, the doctors travel to the patient's home and treat it there. The company, which employs 30 doctors, provided almost 5000 consultations which generated a turnover of NOK 2.2 million ($260k) in 2018.
Prior to this round, Hjemmelegene received NOK 5.5M in funding, out of which NOK 3.5M ($440k) in capital investment. The investors in the company are Raman Bhatnagar and André Bregård - each with 19.8%, Schibsted Vekst - 15%, Vegard Vik - 14.3% and Nicolai Skarsgård - 10.8%.
