Holiday Group Invest A/S was acquired by Capidea.

Holiday Group Invest A/S, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based holding company providing hospitality services, announced getting into an agreement for selling the majority shareholding position to the private investment company, also based in Denmark, Capidea.

The financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The current owners continue as significant shareholders, and the management continues unchanged. Kurt Kvorning becomes new Chairman of the Board and co-invests in Holiday Group.

Holiday Group, led by Kurt Kvorning and by Allan Maul, CEO of Feline Holidays A / S, operates a market-leading online multi-brand platform for holiday home rental bookings, on its sale to Capidea. The Group consists of the subsidiaries Feline Holidays A/S, Vacasol GmbH and Tourist-Online A/S providing online holiday home rentals, mainly targeting Danish and German consumers.

The company collaborates with several holiday home agencies, through partnerships and has a database of more than 140,000 holiday homes across Europe.
