Homemate raises DKK 2M for expanding a convenience food chain in Copenhagen.
Homemate, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company owning a chain of convenience food stores, raised DKK 2M ($5.9M) in outside investment.
The backers are Kraks Fond, together with existing investors including Friheden Invest AS, and the money will be used to reach profitability and then eventually expand abroad.
Homemate, founded in 2014 by CEO Eric-Alan Rapp (who was one of the founding partners in Sunstone Capital), owns a chain of 8 stores that prepares and deliver convenience food in the greater area of Copenhagen.
Prior to this investment, Homemate got funds totalling DKK 35M ($5M)
