Howspace announced raising 1.6 million euro in bridge funding.

Howspace, a Helsinki, Finland-based SAAS developer, announced the completion of a EUR 1.6M ($1.8M) capital  investment.

According to the company, the round is a bridge funding to which all existing investors contributed, including Business Finland, Midinvest, Unifund, and ten business angels, among them Tomi Hilvo, Markko Vaarnas, and serial entrepreneurs Lennu Keinänen and Juha Harju.

The money will be used to further improve the company's product, for establishing in North-American headquarters in Toronto and accelerating growth in the Nordics.

Howspace, founded in 2008 and led by CEO Ilkka Mäkitalo, developed a software solutions for companies interested in dialogue-driven learning and organizational development. The platform has around 200 000 active users and clients span from consulting firms to enterprises and unions, as well as city administrations and governmental offices.
