HumanForest, a London, UK-based startup providing bikesharing services across London, announced that it completed a £1.8 million ($2.4M) capital investment round.

The funding was provided by a range of angel investors, including Juan de Antonio and Vicente Pascual, of Cabify's fame. Vicente Pascual joins the Board along with Stefan Tilks, ex-Volvo President and CEO of NEVS AB, the Swedish electric car manufacturer.

Money will be used to support the roll out of 1,000 e-bikes and to grow the fleet to 2,000 e-bikes in the capital within a year.

HumanForest founded in 2020 by ex-Cabify Agustin Guilisasti (CEO) and Caroline Seton, provides a service that has been used by 14,000 riders in 3 months since launch, with 40k rides. The sharing service is limited to two boroughs in North London, namely Islington and Camden.
