Hylte Jakt och Lantman was acquired by the BHG Group
Hylte Jakt och Lantman (HYMA), a Stockholm, Sweden-based retailer for forestry and agriculture products, announced that it entered into an agreement for selling the company.
The deal was made for 92.2% of the shares, acquired by BHG Group AB for SEK 1bn ($120M) in a stock and case transaction from HYMA's owners Verdane. Verdane had acquired its equity stake in 2018.
Hylte Jakt och Lantman was founded in 1911 by Dutch farmers and is led by CEO Anders Carlsson and has leading market positions in key BHG categories, such as Garden, Tools and Leisure, with a broad portfolio of external and own brands. The company produced sales of SEK 744 million in 2020.
