InfoCare AS was acquired by Katalysator from CapMan.

InfoCare AS, a Kristiansand, Norway-based provider of information technology services and support solutions, announced that it was acquired by the investment company Katalysator.

The deal, which has the fnancial details undisclosed, was made with Finnish private equity company CapMan, which acquired InfoCare in 2005. Following the transaction, Katalysator will own 93% of the company

Katalysator is a family-owned (Møller/Schage Førde) investment company organized under the holding company Aars AS.

Aars is also the owner of MøllerGruppen AS and MøllerGruppen Eiendom AS. MøllerGruppen is a leading Norwegian automotive importer and retail group that employs 3,800 people and has revenues of over US$2.5 billion. It is also a significant importer in the Baltics and owns 65 car dealership outlets. MøllerGruppen Eiendom owns a portfolio of 350,000 sqm. real estate in Norway, Sweden and the Baltics, mainly related to the car business.

Infocare, led by CEO Kjell Magne Leirgulen, is a service provider on technological equipment with more than 189 service locations and more than 870 employees in the Nordics, with head office in Norway.
