Sensio added LongShip as investors in the company.

Sensio, an Oslo, Norway-based provider of smart homes and welfare technology, announced getting into an invstment agreement for selling a part of the company to the Norwegian private investment firm LongShip.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. Longship will become the main owner in the company and its subsidiary Safemate AS, alongside the founders and key employees. Kai Jordahl, Managing partner of Longship AS, becomes chairman of Sensio AS.

Sensio, founded in 2009 and led by CEO William Holm, is a provider of welfare technology solutions to public institutions and personal safety alarms and home automation to the residential market. The company works with over 100 Norwegian municipalities and 10,000 private homes. Sensio has offices in Stavanger and Oslo, and currently has around 40 employees.
