Infogrid raised £11.5 million in a round led by Northzone
Infogrid, a London, UK-based manufacturer of smart sensors for buildings, announced that it secured funding of £11.5 million ($15.4M).
The money was raised from investors led by Northzone, and included contributions from JLL Spark, Concrete VC, The Venture Collective, Jigsaw VC and Starwood Capital.
Infogrid, founded in 2018 by CEO William Cowell de Gruchy, develops sensors that are used to retrofit existing buildings to make them smart, by colecting data and using artificial intelligence to detect related incidents. The company's clients include banks, supermarkets, restaurant chains and the NHS in the UK, where Infogrid helps monitor the safety of hospitals during the coronavirus pandemic.
