inne secures €8m in Series A funding led by Blossom Capital,
inne, a Berlin, Germany-based startup manufacturer of a medical device for women fertility monitoring, announced it raised €8 million ($8.8M) in Series A funding.
The money was raised from investors led by Blossom Capital, with participation from Monkfish Equity and angel investors Taavet Hinrikus, Tom Stafford and Rolf Schromgens.
The money will be used to hire more people.
inne, founded in 2017 by CEO Eirini Rapti, is building a hormone tracker which will help women to gather and more data related to their health. The product is a natural contraceptive without side effects, featuring a biosensor and reader as well as the connected app. The device will be available by 2017, as it is in process of achieving medical certification in Europe.
