Insify raised €15 million Series A round led by Accel.
Insify, an Amsterdam, Netherlands-based startup building an insurance business sold to freelancers and small businesses, announced completing series A closed at €15 million ($17 million).
The money was raised from investors led by Accel, joined by Visionaries Club, Frontline Ventures and Fly Ventures.
Insify, founded in 2020 by Ernst Moorman, Jort de Vries and Koen Thijssen, works with Munich Re in order to design and sell tailored insurance products spanning business liability and professional indemnity to occupational disability cover, for entrepreneurs and small businesses in the e-commerce, leisure, construction, and IT sectors. The company says it handles business for around 1,500 companies out of Netherlands.
Insify previously raised €2.4M from Frontline Ventures and Fly Ventures in 2020.
