Silverflow to get $17 million in funding led by Coatue Management.

Silverflow, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based SAAS developer for the online payment providers, announced raising $17 million series A equity.

The money was raised from investors led by Coatue Management, joined by Crane Venture Partners, INKEF Capital and Global Paytech Ventures. Other contributors include angels Jason Gardner, the founder and CEO of Marqeta, and Gokul Rajaram, the former head of product for Square who is now a board member at Coinbase.

Silverflow, founded in 2019 by CEO Anne-Willem de Vries, Robert Kraal and Paul Buying, developed a payments technology solution aiming to help global cards processing with direct access into the card networks. The company expects to go to market publicly with its card payments processing technology in early 2021.

Silverflow raised previously €3M, last round closed in 2020 at €2.6M.
