InSilicoTrials, a Trieste, Italy-based startup operating a web-based platform for simulation models for pharmaceutical and medical research, announced the completion of a €3 million ($3.4M) in a Series A funding.
The round was led by led by United Ventures, and included participation from Pi Campus.
InSilicoTrials, fouded in 2016 and led by CEO Luca Emili, developed a web-based platform providing a user-friendly computational modeling and simulation environment where many integrated easy-to-use in silico tools are readily available. The platform targets primarily users from the medical devices and pharmaceutical sectors.
