IOT Communications secured SEK 10 million from Telia.

IOT Communications, a Stockholm, Sweden-based developer of IOT Communications platform designed for massive scale operations to launch services globally, announced the completion of a capital investment round.

The funding was supported by investors from Sweden, including Telia Ventures, which contributed with SEK 10M ($1M).

IOT Communications (Iotcomms), founded in 2018 by Gunnar Reinholdsen and Jorgen Bjorkner, is developing a Communication Platform as a Services (CPaaS) for mission critical voice and video communication services. The company's platform offers a low threshold by providing easy to use APIs and SDKs that fit with the rest of the IoT ecosystem providing a hassle-free environment that hide the complexity from the telecommunications world, thereby enabling IoT service providers and software developers to bring voice and video capabilities to IoT applications.
