Irriot added $300k in angel investment

Irriot, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company providing smart irrigation systems, completed a SEK 2.5M ($300k) pre-seed capital investment round.

The money was provided by investors including angel Mikael Ahlström, founder of Procuritas, and will be used to finance the delivery the product to six customers using the company's AI ​​irrigator.

Irriot, founded in 2017 by Alex Palin, Mikhail Soloviev and Johan Wendt, built a wireless, self-powered irrigation automation platform that helps reducing water wastage in agriculture, as well as save on electrical bills, eliminate human factor and provide better crop yields in food production.
