Itch Pet to raise £7.25 million in a round led by YYX Capital, and including Accel Partners and Seedcamp.
Itch Pet, a London and Leeds-based veterinary startup, announced that it completed a funding round of £7.25 million ($9.7M).
The money was raised from investors led by YYX Capital, and including Accel Partners and Seedcamp. Proceeds will be used to launch in the US, expand into the pet insurance sector and fuel further development of its data platform so it is best placed to serve pets and their owners.
Itch Pet, founded in 2018 by Charlotte Harper, James Cox, and Jonny Gould and led by CEO Andrew Pinnington, developed a subscription-based service for pet owners interested in having personalized subscription packs built around a flea treatment.
The company previously raised €5.6 million in 2019.
