Joymo raised NOK 12M in investment from Norwegian angels.

Joymo, an Oslo, Norway-based developer of a digital platform for streaming live sports, completed a NOK 12M ($1.4M) capital investment round.

The funding was provided by Norwegian angel investors, including Ingar Østby, Karl-Christian Agerup, Gunnar Evensen, Jacob Schram and Mats Zuccarello Aasen.

Joymo, founded as Yoimo in 2016 by Jan Claes Christian Palmers and led by CEO Mike Emery, has developed an unmanned camera and an easy way to broadcast sports events. The company makes money by selling access to its service via a livestreaming broadcasting platform called the LiveCaster.

Prior to this deal, Joymo was funded by StartupLab Founders and Skyfall Ventures.
