The money was raised from investors led by Index Ventures joined by the France from Kima Ventures and a number of angel investors including Nicolas Brusson, Hanno Renner, Laurent Ritter and Thibaud Elziere.
Jump, founded in 2020 by Maxime Bouchet, CEO Nicolas Fayon, Nicolas Pinet and Thibault Coulon, developed an automated software solution that helps companies recruit and manage the process of employing freelancers, including payment processing, payroll, insurance and other admin tasks. The company is available in France only, and charges a flat subscription fee, providing access to third-party services, such as professional and personal life insurance (provided by Axa), health insurance (provided by Alan), and connection to freelance marketplaces (i.e.Malt, Talent.io and LeGratin) or other services (i.e. Simbel, Secret or HelloPrêt).
