Junkbusters raised money from Dico.

Junkbusters, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based developer of a software solution for waste management announced an investment funding round led by venture capital company Dico.

Junkbusters, founded in 2009 by CEO Steffen Rasmussen, has developed a scalable software platform that enables asset light geographic expansion, through automatically matching customers’ delivery and pick-up requests with independent service partners (typically local transportation or waste handling companies). Junkbusters’ services include waste handling via containers, junkbags and junktrucks.

The company operates in Denmark, Sweden and Germany and provides waste management services to private customers and professionals within the small and medium-sized business segment.
