Kamstrup acquired the Danish software company Blue Control.

Kamstrup, an Aarhus (Skanderborg), Denmark-based manufacturer of system solutions for smart energy and water metering, announced that it acquired Birkerød, Denmark-based Blue Control, which delivers a controlling and software platform for small and medium-sized water supplies.

The financial details of the transaction remained undisclosed. Blue Control, which has 9 employees, will continue with their own solutions and the company will continue as an independent company in the Kamstrup Group.

Blue Control, founded in 2014 and led by Gert Vesterlund, offers water utilities an easy way to get an overview of their production and distribution with one solution for controlling extracting, filtering, pumping and reporting.
