Kavall to raise SEK 50 million from VNV Global.

Kavall, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup building an online grocery delivery business, announced the completion of a SEK 50 million ($5.8M) capital funding round.

The money was raised from local investors from Sweden led by VNV Global and joined by Inbox Capital and angel investors Fredrik Jung-Abbot (Kry founder) and Samir Bachkami (investor in Hungrig.se). The company is valued at SEK 285 million ($33M) post money.

Kavall was founded in 2021 by Robin Rendahl and Peter Simon and is one of the many online grocery startups from Europe funded by venture money.
