Kindly merges operations with ReCheckit.

Kindly, an Oslo, Norway-based company providing a platform for easy-to-set-up chatbots, announced merging its business with ReCheckit, a software developer also Oslo-based.

Financial details were not disclosed. The business will continue under the name Kindly, will be led by CEO Arash Saidi and aims to achieve NOk 50M in sales in 2020.

Kindly, founded as Convertelligence in 2015 by Arash Saidi and John Antonio Nilsen, provides automating customer support through tech that combines machine learning and natural language processing. ReCheckit was founded by Peder Aaserud and is a SAAS developer for a product helping with online sales conversion.

Both companies were owned by Erik Must, who will be joined by Trond Riiber Knudsen and StartupLab Founders in the new company. Chairman of the board will be Gunnar Bjørkavåg.
