Kivra Oy secured capital investment from Resurs Bank.

Kivra Oy, an Espoo, Finland-based company providing a secure digital mailbox replacing physical/postal letters and invoices in Finland, announced that it secured an undisclosed amount of capital investment.

The funding was provided by Resurs Bank, which belongs to Resurs Holding. Resurs Bank was among the first to offer its customers in Sweden the opportunity to receive mail via Kivra, and today more than 50% of their newspapers are sent digitally.

Kivra Oy was set up in 2018 as a 70/30 joint venture between Kivra Sweden and Telia, with a funding of $2.2M. Kivra, in Sweden, was founded in 2011 and is led by CEO Stefan Krook. The company is owned by investors including 41an Invest and FAM, having raised about $11M.
