Roima Intelligence acquires Logia Software, merges it into its operations.

Roima Intelligence, an Espoo, Finland-based software provider, announced getting into an agreement for acquiring Logia Software Oy, a Finnish company specialized in supply chain management.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Logia’s cloud technology will especially complement Roima’s intralogistics expertise - the combined organisation will employ over 250 people and generate revenue to over 34 million euros.

Following the merger, all Logia employees will be transferred to Roima’s payroll as old employees, and Logia’s shareholders will become Roima’s shareholders.

Roima Intelligence, founded in 2014 and led by CEO Jukka Ropponen, provides software solutions and expertise in manufacturing operations management, warehouse management, product information management and machine vision. The company has around 300 customers in Finland and across Europe supported by employees based in Espoo, Eindhoven, Linköping, Pori, Seinäjoki, Tampere, Uusikaupunki and Västerås.
