Klar, a Munich, Germany-based software startup developing a SAAS data platform for ecommerce companies, announced securing a €2.3 million ($2.5 million) seed funding round.
The money was raised from investors led by Cherry Ventures, and joined by DTC Ventures, OMR (the artist formerly known as Online Marketing Rockstars) and angel investors Benedikt Sauter (Xentral), Moritz Weisbrodt (Alaiko), Malte Horeyseck, Philipp Triebel (SellerX), Samir El-Sabini (Juni), Benjamin Kremer (YFood).
Klar, founded in 2021 by Maximilian Rast, Cillié Burger, and Frank Birzle, works for the development of a data management solution for e-commerce brands. The tool is scraping relevant data from third-party sources, in order to offer direct-to-consumer brands a better understanding of their financial situation, customer purchasing patterns, and marketing efficiency, and offers them up in one homogenised dashboard.
