Kleoverse, a Helsinki, Finland-based software startup developing a blockchain-based recruitment marketplace, announced that it secured a $1.2 million seed funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by byFounders and Sfermion, and included contributions from Atomico's venture scout Ville Vesterinen and from Equilibrium, a blockchain agency.

The proceeds will be used to fund further R&D in the platform, scale its user base, and build its global community of Web3 builders and developers.

Kleoverse, founded in 2021 by CEO Aleksi Löytynoja and Joni Karras, is building what they call a DAO Working Platform, namely a blockchain-based digital platform aiming to replace the need for old-fashioned CVs as it helps freelancers create a professional identity in Web3 via NFTs used to visualize an individual’s Web3 Proof-of-Talent based on the projects they’ve completed with decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs).

Total investments received (USD): 1.2M
