Kodit announced funding of €100M in a combination of equity and debt
Kodit, a Helsinki, Finland-based real estate tech company, announced completing a financing round of €100M ($116.7M).
The money is a combination of debt and equity, and is provided by financiers including Nordic Real Estate Partners (NREP).
NREP is a Danish real estate investment company founded by Rasmus Nørgaard and Mikkel Bülow-Lehnsby.
The money was raised as Kodit seeks to scale its reach in existing countries, while eyeing expansion into new geographies.
Kodit, founded in in 2017 by CEO Kalle Salmi and Martti Suomela, started by building a machine learning-powered real estate data platform to give home sellers instant cash offers, and to provide home buyers with renovated move-in ready homes.
The company has now become Europe’s leading iBuyer (instant home buyer) startup with operations in Finland, Spain, and Poland as it recently launched a tech-driven real estate brokerage and is expanding to provide flexible living solutions with the aim of becoming a destination for all housing needs.
Kodit has previously raised a little more than $5 million, with early investors including Icebreaker, Speedinvest and Schibsted.
