LastObject to raise €2.7 million from The Footprint Firm, Vækstfonden and angel investor Jacob Wolff-Petersen.
Lastobject, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based startup producing a range of recyclable hygiene products, completed a capital raise round closed at €2.7 million ($3M).
The money was raised from investors lefrom Denmark, including The Footprint Firm, Vækstfonden and angel investor Jacob Wolff-Petersen.
Lastobject, founded in 2016 by Isabel Aagaard and led by CEO Kristian Pitzner-Jørgensen, develops hygiene products that are a sustainable alternative for consumers in the use-and-throw-away category. The range includes recyclable cotton swabs (LastSwab), recyclable cotton pads and recyclable paper handkerchiefs (LastTissue).
Previously, LastObject secured a DKK 18 million capital funding round backed by Vækstfonden in 2021. It also raised DKK 14 million ($2.5M) from over 52,000 customers on Kickstarter and Indiegogo, and received a loan of 6 million from the Danish Green Investment Fund.
