Learningbank secured DKK 14M from investors including Inter-Invest, Zobito and Roosgruppen.

Learningbank, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based provider of specializes in developing digital learning games for companies, secured DKK 14M ($2.2M) in capital investment.

The money comes from a range of Danish investors, including Inter-Invest, Zobito and Roosgruppen, while existing investor Vækstfonden provided loan financing.

Learningbank, founded in 2014 and led by CEO Stine Schulz, developed a range of SAAS e-learning and LMS solutions for companies employees.

The company lost roughly DKK 3.4M in 2017 and expects to be profitable in 3 years, has about 35 employees and works with clients including McDonalds, Novo Nordisk and Danske Bank.

Priro to this transaction, Learningbank added investment from angel investor Rasmus Aaen Madsen, who also became chairman of the board, as well as from existing shareholders, VF Venture and Sato Holding.
