Learnster gets investment from Söderberg & Partners for a SAAS platform for education.
Learnster, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup providing a cloud-based educational platform, announced adding Söderberg & Partners as new investors in the company. The money will be used for expanding the business and the team supporting it.
The deal has a strategic impact as Söderberg & Partners intends to integrate Learnster's solutions as part of its own commercial offer. Söderberg & Partners, led by CEO Gustaf Rentzhog, is a Swedish insurance broker, with 1,400 employees and about 70 offices. In January 2018, the company also made a minority investment in Heartpace, a local startup providing a SAAS platform for employee management.
Learnster, founded in 2017 and led by CEO Mikael Larsson, developed a cloud-based end-to-end service offered at attractive prices to training providers and consultants. Prior to this, the company received outside investment from Propel Capital, as it was part of STING Accelerator in the summer of 2017.
