Leocare raises €2.2 million via Kriptown and from Jacques Verlingue, Hugues Le Bret and Didier Valet
Leocare, a Rennes, France-based digital insurance provider, announced securing funding totalling €2.2 million ($2.6M).
The money was raised from several investors from France, via an equity crowdfunding campaign on Kriptown as well as directly from three angel investors Jacques Verlingue, Hugues Le Bret and Didier Valet.
Leocare, founded in 2017 by Insurlytech and led by CEO Christophe Dandois, sells mobile insurance for cars, homes, bikes and motos, as well as for smartphone.
After an initial round of 1.3 million euros, Leocare welcomes new funds - and new investors to its strategic board. The company employs 25 people and brings in €500k in new premiums per month.
Prior to this, in 2017, Leocare raised €1.3M.
