Luca raised $3 million pre-seed in round backed by Heartcore and angel investors

Luca, a Madrid, Spain-based software startup developing a learning platform, secured a pre-seed funding round closed at $3 milliion.

The money was raised from investors led by Heartcore, and joined by Shilling and angel investors Vasco Pedro, Brian Requarth, Diogo Monica and Hugo Arévalo.

Luca, founded in 2020 by CEO Frederico Bello, developed a platform that provides learning programs for primary and secondary school students.The learning platform offers pre-recorded K12 videos, gamified content and AI powered personalized study paths, covering the entire official academic curriculum and national exams prep. The platform is in beta in use in some 200 classes, with pilots in over 40 schools & 3k students in Mexico & Colombia & Guatemala.
