Martin & Servera sells 30% of the company to Axel Johnson, which will control the whole equity package.
Martin & Servera, a Stockholm, Sweden-based supplier to restaurants and caterers throughout Sweden, announced that its shareholder, Axel Johnson, acquired the Oldmark family’s 30 percent ownership in the company.
Following the deal, which has the financial details undisclosed, Martin & Servera will thereby become wholly owned by Axel Johnson.
In 2011, the two family-owned companies Martin Olsson and Servera merged to form Sweden’s leading restaurant and food-service wholesaler – both in the private and in the public sector. During the years since the merger, Martin & Servera has grown to a turnover of SEK 14.6 billion in 2018, with close to 3,200 employees. The company has expanded in both the public sector and private restaurant operations, now being the largest supplier in the Swedish market.
