Matteappen raises SEK 16.5 million from angel investors from Sweden.

Matteappen, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup providing education services via a math mobile app, completed a SEK 16.5M ($2M) capital investment round.

The money was raised from local angel investors from Sweden, including Fredrik Österberg (via Fros Ventures) and Per Emanuelsson.

Matteappen, founded in 2015 by Henrik Appert and Arvid Gilljam, developed a mobile app that faclitates math-based education lessons via a software tool that interprets and correct math problems. The company produced a turnover of SEK 1.7 million ($200k) in 2019.
