Max Matthiessen buys Optimizer Invest out of its Lånekoll's equity position

Lånekoll, a Stockholm, Sweden-based credit broker operator, announced that it was part of an equity secondary operation.

The deal, which has financial details undisclosed, involves existing shareholder Max Matthiessen acquire the shares from Optimizer Invest, a local Swedish investor.

Lånekoll, founded as Consector by Pontus Holgersson (CEO) and Jonas Ryberg,  is a credit broker with the ambition to help private individuals cut their borrowing costs. The company has a diversified supply of partners in order to accommodate different client categories and facilitates a service where banks engage in competitive tendering to ensure that the client is matched with the right bank. In 2019, Consector, the company behind Lånekoll, had sales of SEK 51 million ($6M).
