Meep announced raising €4 million led by Liil Ventures
Meep, a Madrid, Spain-based operator of a mobility transportation platform, announced that it raised a funding round of €4 million ($4.8M).
The money was raised from investors led by Mexico-based Liil Ventures.
Meep, founded in 2017 and led by CEO Guillermo Campoamor, developed a mobile application that integrates all modes of transport, available in a city, public and private, in a single platform. Users can plan, book and pay for trips in a single transaction, eliminating the need for multiple applications or tools.
The application shows the transport offer in a given location and has a trip planner that allows users to combine different modes on the same route, establishing new connections and helping transport providers to effectively reach their base of customers.
Meep has deployed its solution in 4 countries (Spain, Portugal, Malta and Cyprus) and 7 different cities.
The company previously raised three investment rounds for a total amount of 2.1 million euros.
