Memmo announced a SEK 20 million financing round.

Memmo, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup building an online advertising marketplace, announcedd securing SEK 20M ($2.1M) in capital investment.

The money was provided by a range of Swedish and international investors, led by Luxor Capital, and including 31 Atlantic Capital, Altitude Capital AS, as well as angel investors such as Per Brilioth, Fredrik Hjelm, Douglas Stark, Keith Richman, Niklas Borg, Joel Borg, Patrik Hedelin, Magnus Wiberg, Erik Engellau-Nilsson, Christoffer Norman and Eric Finnås Dahlström.

The funding will be used to make the company's platform available in in Europe.

Memmo, founded in 2019 by CEO Gustav Lundberg Toresson and Tobias Bengtsdahl, developed a platform that offers personal video messages from famous profiles to their fans and followers. As a customer, you send a request of a certain message - a birthday greeting, an internal joke, something grande for the speech - and the profile decides what video messages to create and the price for delivering them. The video message is created, sent and paid directly on the platform.
