Miinto, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based online fashion retailer, announced in a press release that it secured a DKK 100M ($15M) capital investment round. According to the official Danish records, the money was raised in the first part of 2019.

The funding was supported by investors including existing owner, Anders Holch Povlsen, through his company, Bestseller United, and Burda Principal Investments, the investment arm of Hubert Burda Media.

Miinto, founded in 2009 and led by CEO Konrad Kierklo, built an ecommerce platform connecting online shoppers, boutiques, and brands in 7 European markets - offering online customers the opportunity to shop directly from 1.800 independent fashion stores, all gathered in a single platform.

Anders Holch Povlsen acquired Miinto's controling equity package in 2016.
