Mika, a Berlin, Germany-based healthcare provider via a mobile app, announced completing a capital funding round.
The money was raised from German investors, including Ananda Impact Ventures and VC Fonds Technologie Berlin, managed by IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft, and will be used to finance a number of clinical studies as well as further development of the interactive digital companion app.
Mika (Mein interaktiver Krebs-Assistant), founded in 2017 by Gandolf Finke and Jan Simon Raue in cooperation with the Berlin university hospital Charité and University Hospital Leipzig, developed an app called The Fosanis Companion, a digital assistant helping cancer patients and their families.
