Minuendo raised $1.6M from Sintef, StartupLab Founders, Halden Municipal Pension Fund and Stratel.

Minuendo, an Oslo, Norway-based company manufacturing hearing protection devices, completed a NOK 14M ($1.6M) capital investment round.

The money was provided by a range of Norwegian investors, including Sintef, Construct Venture, StartupLab Founders, Halden Municipal Pension Fund and Stratel. Following the deal, the founders and the employees will control about a third of the company.

Minuendo, founded as a spinoff from Sintef in 2018 by CEO Stian Aldrin, Knut Håkon Breivik and Olav Kvaløy, produces ear protectors designed as small and light earplugs with technology that adapts to the noise of the surroundings.
