Moblrn to get SEK 6.5 million from existing shareholders

Moblrn, a Stockholm, Sweden-based developer of a SaaS platform and mobile service for micro learning, announced in a press release the completion of a SEK 6.5M ($700k) capital investment round.

The funding was provided by existing shareholders, including Henrik Wahlström and Stefan Carlsson.

The money will be used to build a sales organization and develop a self-service offering where customers from all over the world can buy and pay for the credit card service. As part of the global expansion, Moblrn is now opening an office in Singapore to serve the Asian market

At the same time, the company signs a framework agreement with Saint-Gobain, a French group active in the manufacturing and distribution of materials and solutions for the construction sector.

Moblrn, founded in 2015 by CEO Anders Börde, developed a platform for micro learning within organisations. The platform makes it easy to set up training programs and improve skills and knowledge in the workplace, providing users with bite-sized content. Moblrn works with customers including Länsförsäkringar, Assa Abloy, Saint-Gobain, Phils Burger, Humana, SABO and Region Halland.
