Motimate secured $1.9M from Investinor, Stayer Invest et all

Motimate, an Oslo, Norway-based company providing SAAS for corporate training and internal communication, announced in a press release that it secured a capital investment round.

The funding was backed by new and existing investors, including Stayer Invest and Investinor. Following the deal, the two will own 18.4% and 5.9% respectively at a total pre-money valuation of NOK 67.8M ($7.9M).

Motimate, founded in 2017 by Lars-Petter Windelstad Kjos and Rolf Risnes (CEO), built a SaaS solution providing digital platforms for training and internal communication in the corporate market.

The company claims to work with about 70 Scandinavian customers, including DNB, Varner Gruppen, Apotek 1, AF Gruppen, REMA 1000 and Finn.no.

Prior to this deal, Motimate raised money from Norwegian investors including Aller Media, Hyper Interaktiv and Rema 1000.
