Multiscription in a DKK 6 million funding round backed by Sisu Games, Tigrim, Vækstfonden and angel investors.

Multiscription, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based startup providing an all-in-one subscription service that complements existing free-to-play revenue streams, announced that it completed funding of DKK 6 million ($1M).

The money was raised from a range of investors including Finland-based Sisu Games Ventures and Sweden-based Tilgrim, complemented by Vækstfonden, which provided half of the total amount.

Multiscription, founded in 2018 by CEO Teis Anker Mikkelsen, Martin Walfisz, developed an unique subscription service called Unleashd, a mobile games subscription service catalogue that gives mobile games publishers a novel take on free-to-play (F2P) monetization without cannibalizing their existing revenue streams.

Free-to-play publishers have the opportunity to add their games to the larger Unleashd subscription catalogue, with every game offering unique in-game benefits, plus an experience free of disruptive advertising as part of a single subscription fee.
