MyDogBuddy and Bibulu announce their merge intro Dogbuddy supported by a €1.9 million round of funding.

myDogBuddy, a UK-based marketplace that connects dog owners with local dog sitters, announced its merger with its Spanish rival Bibulu. After the merger the operations will continue under the DogBuddy brand, aiming to become the biggest dog sitting platform in Europe.

At the same time, DogBuddy also raised a €1.9 million ($2.4M) round from European investors including Caixa Capital Risc, BetaAngels, Eversmarter WW and business angels Fredrik Palmstierna, Cornel Riklin and Andrin Bachmann.
