Mynt completes a new funding round of SEK 30M backed by Luminar Ventures and Svea Ekonomi.

Mynt, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company providing B2B financial loans, announced securing fresh capital in a SEK 30M ($3.4M) investment round.

The money was provided by existing investors, based in Sweden, Luminar Ventures and Svea Ekonomi and will be used primarily for development and expansion across Sweden.

Mynt, founded in 2018 by Baltsar Sahlin (CEO), Johan Obermayer and Magnus Wideberg, provides invoice financing and corporate loans, as it aims to become an alternative funding source for smaller companies. The company also announced the laucnh of a "smart business card" which will help customers integrate receipt management with their digital accounting system.

Mynt is yet to become profitable, at a 2019 turnove of about SEK 4M ($340k). Prior to this round, the company raised almost $3 million.
